Our 05-15  Tacoma frame plates are perfect for straight axle conversions on 2nd Gen Tacomas and well as 4th Gen 4runners. There are two options for steering boxes with our frame plates. You can run either the standard Toyota IFS steering box that is rear swinging or an FJ 80 steering box which is forward swing. We have moved the holes for the IFS steering box as far forward as you can to allow as much room to move your axle forward.
Both Options will come with an inner frame plate that is to be welded to the inside of the frame to ensure no steering boxes pull through the frame. We suggest running 3/4 sleeves through the frame as well.
